If My Book Became a Movie

It doesn't seem that long ago that I was sitting in the movie theatre next to my mom as she cried on my shoulder.
We were watching Little Women.
I walked out of the theatre with a newfound joy.
Though I have never had a sister, I think that my sisterhood is written in my book. Each of the chapters have separate characters and stories, and are in no way related to one another.
And yet, they share a common bond of being a woman trying to find a way in this world.
From women who long for relationships to those who just want to have an identity beyond their gender, Little Women made me realize how different women are in their sameness. How we each deal with similar issues and still long for different lives.
I'd like to think that if my book becomes successful, it would become a sort of mini-series.
Maybe it would be a collection of movies about each of my characters.
Maybe it will be a limited TV show that tells the testimonies of my chapters.
Or maybe, just maybe, my characters are actually sisters. Though they are different, they share the desire to see one another succeed. They have next to nothing in common, and yet they are the best of friends.
